Common questions
A few things you might be wondering about billing, fallback, and checking your charges.
Do I need to enable anything?
No. Once the client is configured, OpenModel recognizes it automatically and the discount applies on its own. Requests from other sources bill at the standard rate.
How is billing calculated when several discounts apply?
You get the lowest one; they don't stack. If a model has both a campaign price and a client discount, you pay the lower of the two.
What happens if the discount is temporarily unavailable?
That's up to the API key's “Standard-price fallback” setting. Fallback is on by default: the request continues at the standard rate, so your work isn't interrupted. If price matters more, turn it off in the console and that request won't run.
How do I confirm the discount applied?
Open the console usage log: the UA column shows the detected client and the Cost column the actual charge. If Standard-price fallback applied to a request, that line shows the standard rate.
